Cruising Charlotte Harbor from January thru May 2019

After returning from Vermont where we got to see our 4th grandchild “Lincoln”, born to Travis and our daughter Megan Bartlett, we spent most Tuesday’s thru Thursday’s cruising Charlotte Harbor from our slip at Burnt Store Marina.  We had many visitors including Stew and Becky Arnold, Bob Baucom and Karen Benedict, Linda Gilbert, Brenda Barry, Wayne and Sharon Beebe, Todd and Margaret Centybear, Dan Geller and Deena Butcher, Lee and Leesa Woodall, Megan, Travis and Lincoln Bartlett, Martha Wales, James Steele and Donna Cottle, Paul Quinn and Ann Ober and lastly Ryan and Sheena Barnes and Easton and Addelyn Barnes.  Our cruising usually entitled crossing Charlotte Harbor to Caya Costa State park and anchoring in Pelican Bay.  Jut south off of the ICW is an anchorage between Useppa island and Cabbage Key.  These two anchorages were our favorites.  We saw numerous dolphins, manatees and many different species of birds.  We love Caya Costa State Park and visited the island even before it became a state park.

We have so enjoyed cruising Charlotte Harbor with friends and family.

This is a slide show of our visitors with many sunrises and sunsets thrown in.  The music is by Jimmy Buffett, titled “Tides” from his Songs from St. Elsewhere album.
