We started out this morning from the Pungo Ferry Bridge in cloudy conditions as it had rained during the night. Went under the Pungo Ferry Bridge and continued thru the Currituck Sound to the famous Coinjock marina. They were full for the might but we enjoyed the seafood platter at the restaurant and filled the fuel tank (won’t be fooled twice). We continued on to Buck Island where we anchored for the night. We were attacked by these bugs referred to as midges. They were bad and messy but at least did not bite.
We can see you sailing around Buck Island just south of St. Thomas in the future! Or maybe the Buck Island just off St, Croix! Or both! Awe, to dream of snorkeling!
